Transient Simulation of a Two-Stage Fan with Large Inter-Stage Volumes.

Abstract

This report describes a computer simulation of a two stage fan with larger than normal volumes between the two stages. The program uses the Newton-Raphson iteration method to solve the simultaneous iteration loops. The fan is modeled in a stage by stage manner. The large volumes are shown to affect the dynamic behavior of the fan. (Author)
