Evaluation of the Gary-Modified L-19A Airplane for Training Purposes.

Abstract

An evaluation of the Gary-modified L-19A Airplane, with specific attention to locking tail wheel and modification of the front stick, was conducted to determine if these modifications provide the Army with a more suitable primary and advanced trainer for use in formal aviation training programs.
