Draft Military Characteristics, Army Aircraft Crewman's Helmet.

Abstract

Specifications are given for a protective helmet for Army aircraft crewmen which will afford crash and ballistic protection, be suitable for wear while performing duties on the ground and in flight in either fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft, and be compatible with ejection seats, oxygen, and other allied equipment provided in these aircraft.
