Origins in Experiment of a New General Theory of Plasticity for Structural Metal Alloys.

Abstract

In this paper the author's theory of elastic-plastic deformation at large strain is reviewed. A parabolic description is found to apply to structural metal alloys as well as pure metals. The origins in experiment are emphasized.
