Abstract

This eighth volume of the ASTRA documentation gives a brief introduction of the ASTRA Computer System. Major design specifications are presented, and the two user-oriented input languages of ASTRA, SAIL and SAUL, are discussed. Brief descriptions of the major computational modules are given and finally, a few engineering applications are presented. (Author)
