Biochemical and Structural Changes in Tissues of Temperature Acclimated Macaca mulatta,

Abstract

The studies herein described were undertaken to obtain information on tissue metabolic changes which might contribute to cold acclimatization changes in M. mulatta, and which conceivably could apply in the case of temperature acclimated men. The major objective has been to see whether certain tissues become altered in mass, histological structure or oxidative enzyme levels.
