Quasi-Real Time Translation of Morse-Coded Signals Using Digital Delay Processing

Abstract

This thesis investigates the problem in automatic translation of Morse-coded signals. Specific modifications to a commercially available decoder are made and evaluated. The delay algorithm presented is based upon the attributes of a human operator and is implemented using integrated circuit static shift registers.
