A Methodology for Preparing Environmental Statements.
Abstract
This report provides instructions for Air Force field personnel in the methods for preparing environmental statements. The report covers the following areas: introduction to the environment, review of Air Force procedures for assessment and reporting impacts of various actions, establishing and maintaining an environmental baseline data and information system, preparation of the proposed action, description of the existing environment, identification of impacts, and other topics - alternatives, unavoidable impacts, and use of resources. The report is written for a person with a technical background, but without experience in environmental analysis.
