Research on Acquisition of Skills with Single Motor Unit Training and EEG.

Abstract

These series of investigations, sought to establish some of the factors involving motor performance, more precisely, the willful control of single motor unit contractions. Two conclusions resulted: (1) Bounded distortion of the time between the occurrence of a single motor unit and the auditory signal fed back to the subject has no significant long term effect on the subject's performance of a single motor unit task. (2) Evoked potentials, evident in both EEG and EOG, are correlated in time to the single motor unit event.
