Decade Pip Encoder for Use in Instron Universal Testing Instruments.

Abstract

The design approach and circuitry of a Decade Pip Encoder for the Instron are described. This Encoder superimposes larger pips on the load-elongation curve of a sample under test to indicate 100% elongation of the sample, plus small pips every 10% elongation as presently produced by the Instron Marker Control Option.
