Comparative Evaluation of Life Preservers.

Abstract

This study was designed in order to conduct, in coordination with the US Army Armor Board, a comparative evaluation of the following life preservers to determine which is the most suitable for use in Army aircraft by air crewmen and passengers: US Air Force Types MA-2, LPU-2/P, LPU-3/P, US Navy Types BuAer Mark 2 and Navy Mark 3C; US Army Types B-5, B-7, Design 9008, and Design 9009.
