Development of a Color Image Formation System.

Abstract

A dual format color photograhic technique has been developed at the BRL in support of the DARCOM Target Signature Analysis Program, and is available for use with the BRL Hybrid Computer. One of the outputs of the Computer can be used to drive a Cathode Ray Tube display. The display is photographed with quickly interchangeabel cameras to yield 35mm color slides and 3 1/4 in. by 4 1/4 in. Polaroid hard copy color prints. A full range of colors can be obtained by proper syncrhonization of CRT display and interchange of three additive filters. Color purity varies from 50 percent to 98 percent. (Author)
