Improved Image Processing

Abstract

The design and evaluation of a unique electro-optical image processing system is discussed. The system simulates the compensatory mechanisms of the human visual system. The goal of the processing is the improvement of resolution in images degraded by Linear motion blur, defocus and diffraction.
