Abstract

The majority of the UH-1( ) dynamic components are removed for overhaul or retirement at 1,100-hour intervals. Extension of the time between overhaul (TBO) of major dynamic components of the UH-1( ) helicopters would improve the worldwide supply posture and availability rate, and would provide a substantial savings.
