Military Potential Test of the Model PA23-250C Fixed-Wing Instrument Trainer

Abstract

The Military Potential Test of the Model PA23-250C Fixed-Wing Instrument Trainer was conducted by the US Army Aviation Test Board during the period 5 October 1964 to 10 November 1964 at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Flight under actual and simulated instrument conditions and demonstrations to personnel representing the US Army Aviation Center and the US Army Aviation School were conducted during the test period. It was found that the Model PA23-250C test airplane as changed by the technical proposal will not meet all of the requirements contained in the Model Specification.
