Dental Pulp Reaction to Cavit Temporary Filling Material.

Abstract

Seventy-two teeth were utilized on three Macaque fasicularis monkeys to evaluate pulpal response to Cavit. Odontoblastic nuclei displacement was histologically evaluated at three time periods to identify initial, early and final response. There were no statistically significant differences in pulpal response between Cavit and the zinc oxide-eugenol controls. (Author)
