Thermal Force Contributions to Self-Generated Magnetic Fields in Laser-Produced Plasmas.

Abstract

The several magnetic source terms affecting laser-produced plasmas are presented and their importance discussed. The thermal force is shown to greatly modify the magnetic field distribution. The hard X-ray spectrum is quantitatively compared with the experiment. (Author)
