Shipbuilding Production Function: An Example of a Dynamic Production Function.

Abstract

The structure of the production function for a shipyard is expressed as a dynamic activity analysis model, with the activities related by a directed graph for transfer of intermediate products. The direct and indirect production correspondences are calculated by solution of a system of recursive relations, and application is made to a specific example with load leveling. (Author)
