USAFSAM ECG/VCG Digitizing and Averaging System.

Abstract

A system for digitizing and filtering ECG/VCGS has been developed and is operational on a Data General Nova 1200 minicomputer. The theory and implementations of various algorithms for amplifying, digitizing, filtering, and calibrating VCGS are discussed along with the hardware needed to make them operational. Flowcharts are given of the digital filter algorithms along with the results of extensive verification tests. The system operation procedure and the two possible formats of the digitized and filtered ECG/VCGs are discussed. (Author)
