Argus Island Tower 1960 to 1976.

Abstract

A history of Argus Island, a research tower located 24 miles off the southwest coast of Bermuda, is presented from its construction in 1960 to its demise in 1976. Presented in this report are descriptions of the tower, activities and experiments conducted, and steps undertaken to topple the tower. (Author)
