An Analysis of the Relationships between Job Satisfaction/Enrichment Factors and Demographic Variables for United States Air Force Professional Military Education Faculty.

Abstract

This study has focused upon an application of job motivation/satisfaction theory to the faculty of the United States Air Force Air University. The study was limited to the three major college faculties within Air University. Two hundred and twenty subjects were measured with the Air University Faculty Motivation Survey. The instrument presented and defined 15 job factors. Scales were included to measure both an individual's satisfaction with and perceived importance of each factor. Six job enrichment factors and selected demographic variables were also measured.
