Evaluation of Three Types of Technical Data for Troubleshooting: Test Administrator's Guide.
Abstract
This volume contains a guide for the administration of job performance tests used in a study to evaluate the effectiveness of three types of technical data for troubleshooting. The performance tests measure the ability of technicians to troubleshoot 15 typical malfunctions in the AN/APN-147 doppler radar and AN/ASN-35 navigational computer. The tests are specifically designed to measure performance using the three types of data - fully proceduralized troubleshooting aids, logic tree troubleshooting aids and conventional technical orders. Three forms are provided for each test, one for each type of technical data. Guidance is provided for the pretest setup, test administration, and performance evaluation. The complete evaluation project is described in AFHRL-TR-76-74(I). (Author)
