Annual Report, FY-75.

Abstract

The AMRDL has the fundamental objective of demonstrating aviation technology needed to provide simple, rugged, reliable air-mobility equipment of superior performance, which the typical Army man can operate and maintain. To accomplish this objective, the AMRDL pursues an orderly and timely sequence of activities in a broadly based, multidisciplinary program directed toward the establishment and growth of a technological base for future development of Army airmobile systems and products. The AMRDL serves both the specific and long-range research and development needs of Army aviation. The basic concept is an in-house center of professional excellence operated by and for the Army and staffed with both civil and military personnel.
