Hydrazine Analysis Using Chemiluminescence.

Abstract

The chemiluminescent reactions of ozone with hydrazine, methylhydrazine, and 1,1-dimethylhydrazine have been studied over a wide range of conditions. From the spectral and kinetic information obtained from these studies, a measuring method was arrived at which permits determining concentrations of methylhydrazine, Aerozine-50, and NO2 in the range of 0.1 to 1,000 ppm in air. The effects of various interferents were studied and are reported. (Author)
