Career Development for D.A. Civilians in Project Management.

Abstract

The study examines the role and functions of civilians in Project Management Offices and the projected staffing requirements. Past and present career development programs and their advantages and shortcomings included the new DARCOM Material Acquisition and Readiness Executive Development (MARED) program in the light of DOD directions to develop a group of competent and qualified personnel in the field of project management. Recommendations are made for improving the utilization of human resources through career management. (Author)
