Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: (a) Study the deformation and flow characteristics of the soil under penetration; (b) Examine the Von Mises equation in light of the test results; (c) Evaluate the potential of the visioplasticity method for predicting soil-vehicle interaction theoretically.
