Seismic Discrimination

Abstract

This report describes 25 investigations in the field of seismic discrimination. These are grouped as follows: estimation of body wave magnitude by single stations and networks (9 contributions), surface wave studies (2 contributions), examination of methods for the separation of the signals from a sequence of closely spaced explosions (2 contributions), studies concerned with lateral heterogeneity within the earth (5 contributions), miscellaneous studies (3 contributions), and recent developments in our data and computer systems (4 contributions).
