Evaluation of the Relative Off-Road Performance of 15 Vehicles in Synthalogous Theaters of Operation (STOP) Terrain Factor Complexes. Volume II. Appendix B. Vehicle Performance Predictions in Tropical Climate Theater. Appendix C. Vehicle Performance Predictions in Arid Climate Theater. Appendix D. Vehicle Performance Predictions in Temperate Climate Theater.

Abstract

The WES analytical model for predicting performance of ground vehicles (described in Volume I) was used to predict the performance of 15 vehicles in all STOP terrain complexes (terrain types) in terms of speed, fuel consumption, and delivery capability (in ton-miles per hour, tmph). The 15 vehicles for which predictions of performance were made are the XM561, XM706, XM410, M35A1, VEXA 8x8, VEXA 10x10, M54A2, XM656, XM520E1, M52A2/127E1, XM571, M116, M113A1, XM548, and VEXA track. The performance values for each of the above-listed vehicles in all terrain complexes in the tropical, arid, and temperate climate theaters are given in Appendixes B, C, and D, respectively, herein.
