Aviation Visual Performance in the UH-1H. Study I.

Abstract

This study monitored, via the corneal reflection technique, visual performance of Army aviators while flying a number of maneuvers in a UH-1H. Visual performance, to include time and transition information, was gathered over 13 cockpit areas. In addition to the objective recordings, subjective assessments by the aviators with regard to their visual performance was also attained. Results acquired by both techniques are provided. (Author)
