Integrating of the 3-D Harmonic Kernel.

Abstract

Currently, the singular integral that arises in the analysis of oscillating lifting surfaces is evaluated by approximate methods, and considerable scatter exists between the results of different methods. In this paper, the application of an accurate approach to the Falkner finite element method is described, and some numerical results are compared with two current levels of approximation. (Author)
