Exact Evaluation of the Kondo Integral.

Abstract

A procedure is given for obtaining an exact evaluation of the Kondo integral. This is a mathematical function used to characterize a type of electron scattering; it arises in connection with a variety of physical processes. Previously, there was no exact evaluation of the integral, and various approximation functions were used to represent it. Two of these approximations are compared with the exact answer. (Author)
