Frequency Domain Identification of Gyro Drift Coefficients

Abstract

This report presents a new two-axis tumble test for the determination of gyro drift parameters. The method uses the concept of frequency domain data reduction which helps to lessen the required test procedure and the needed test equipment. Both the test procedure and data processing algorithm are presented in detail. The result of a simulated testing is included to demonstrate the proposed concept.
