Utilization of Technology Transfer Concepts As an Aid for Engineering Management in a Test and Evaluation Organization.

Abstract

This thesis addresses Technology Transfer as it might be applied in a Test and Evaluation (T and E) activity for weapons systems and components within the Federal Government. Factors associated with the technology transfer process, aids and barriers to technology transfer, the innovative and creative processes, and managerial requirements for technology transfer are related to the job of an engineering manager in a T and E organization. From the relationships, a paradigm for action for middle management engineers to improve technical capability by utilizing technology transfer concepts is formulated.
