Mass Memory Organization Study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a recommended organization for gigabit storage device having speed/bandwidth capabilities compatible with an associating type computer processor. Data acquired under this effort is based on the use of nonvolatile MNOS technology integrated circuits. Full exposition is made of the design principles applicable to production of mass memories having optimum data rates and minimal costs for future associative processor applications. Extensive appendices are included on technology impact factors. (Author)
