Large-Area Electron-Beam Experiments.

Abstract

This report contains experimental and analytical descriptions of IEMP produced with electron beams. The basic objective of the work reported was to obtain experimental data on space-charge neutralization in cavities, to test the adequacy of the existing theoretical model. A portion of the analysis of experimental results is included. The general trends in the transmitted current, such as variation of the pulse shape with pressure, are described by computer simulation.
