Electroreflectance, Faraday Rotation and Hall Effect of Infrared Detector Materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain the knowledge of microscopic parameters in the alloy semiconductor Pb(1-x)sn(x)Te from the combined electrical and optical properties. Studies of the surface properties and the optical properties will provide information which will lead to an improvement of the performance of infrared detectors and laser devices.
