Fear and Courage: A Psychological Study,

Abstract

This study contains an intensive analysis of fear and courage based on material collected on several hundred young men undergoing parachute training. The major portion of this study is concerned with two classes of Airborne Trainees that went through the airborne program in the summer of 1953. Questionnaires and performance measures were taken throughout the training cycle.
