Lesson Moniform - An Authoring Aid for the PLATO CAI System.

Abstract

This text is a programmed guide for the use of HumRRO-developed authoring aids for the PLATO IV Computer-Administered Instruction (CAI) system. These authoring aids, which we call Monitoring Formats (MONIFORMS) may be used by any individual who is preparing instructional material for the PLATO IV system. MONIFORMS require the author to provide only information relevant to his specific question, such as the text for the question, feedback messages for correct and incorrect responses, and instructions for analyzing the student's response. This text contains only guidance for question preparation using MONIFORMS. The material in the guide is also available in CAI form on the PLATO IV system in Lesson 'Moniform'. (Author)
