Aquatic Plant Control Program. Technical Report 13. Aquatic Use Pattern for Diquat for Control of Egeria and Hydrilla.

Abstract

It has been found that diquat and diquat plus copper can be used effectively to control egeria and hydrilla. Repeat applications are necessary for proper maintenance. Herbicide residues are dissipated in 1-3 days, depending upon the specific situation. Results indicate that no residues are to be found in crops irrigated with water treated with diquat at the levels used for the control of obnoxious aquatic vegetation.
