An Investigation into the Source of Error in Stadimetric Range Estimation,

Abstract

From the experiments performed in this investigation, little was revealed concerning the mechanism responsible for the differences in error between incoming and outgoing targets during range estimation. There is no evidence for a significant relationship between range estimation, accuracy, time estimation (for the intervals used), CFF and perceptual style.
