Wideband 10.6 micrometers Backscatter Range Interim Report

Abstract

This report summarizes the principles, hardware and performance of a high resolution 10.6 micrometer optical backscatter range. Included is a description of the backscatter range, optical setup and processing capabilities. Results include demonstration of the high resolution range and doppler capabilities of the wideband waveform as well as the first high resolution 10.6 micrometer range-resolved angel-angle scanned and range-doppler images.
