Design and Development of the Signal, Underwater Sound, Mk 123 Mod 0,

Abstract

This report describes an underwater ordnance item, the Signal, Underwater Sound (SUS), Mk 123 Mod 0, recently released for Fleet use that incorporates a new type of explosive train which has a fuze containing no moving parts. The simplicity, safety, reliability and ruggedness of this fuze make it worthy of consideration for use in other ordnance items. (Author)
