Inertial Navigation Systems Testing Handbooks.

Abstract

This handbook describes the methods being used in testing an inertial navigation system at the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC). Future technological advances, deviations for peculiar characteristics of individual test programs, and cost constraints may necessitate other methods being used in some cases. A background on inertial navigation systems, flight testing, and documentation of computer software developed for post-flight reduction of data is presented. (Author)
