Acoustic and Physical Properties of Bottom Sediment.

Abstract

The existing studies of the acoustic and physical properties of bottom sediments were summarized. The computation of the impedance, reflection coefficient, and the reflection loss for each of the sediments, as well as the graphic presentation, represents the original material. The information may be useful to those interested in bottom reflection and its application to bottom bounce sonar.
