FARE Camouflage Development. Volume III, Part A. Requirements Documentation.

Abstract

Using past Forward Area Refueling and Rearming Point (FARRP) operational study and doctrine documentation, it is shown that the interaction of the FARRP with a spectrum of surveillance and target acquisition threats under a variety of combat, topographic, deployment, and operational staging conditions will result in high susceptibility in various stages of the FARRP to direct and enhanced visual, COMINT, and SLAR threats, and a threat order is developed. The threat order functions to place emphasis and priority on materiel development options over a fifteen-year period and will be used for program planning purposes.
