A Model of a Protected Data Management System.

Abstract

A mathematical model of a data management system embodying a military security policy is presented. Its basis in the Bell-La Padula model and the extensions required are narratively described. General notions of protection and the relational approach to data management are considered. A full, formal description of the model is included. (Author)
