Carborane Burning Rate Modifiers.

Abstract

Derivatives of 1-2 dicarba-closo-dodecaborane (12) capable of being chemically bonded to the double bonds in polybutadiene polymers have been synthesized and characterized. These derivatives do bond to the polymer backbone. Kinetic studies on formation of ortho-carborane have been carried out. (Author)
