Slant Range Visibility Measuring LIDAR.

Abstract

This design report presents the results of efforts to establish equipment parameters required for a single-ended transmissometer system to measure the visibility along a slant range such as that corresponding to the line of sight of a pilot in an aircraft approaching an airport runway. (Author)
