Electronic Energy Levels in Imperfect Solids.

Abstract

Several scattering-theoretic formulations of the theory of solids are used to discuss the energy levels associated with imperfections, surface states, and electron energy levels in highly disordered substances. The theoretical bases are thoroughly developed and illustrated. (Author)
