Square Wave Voltammetry at the Dropping Mercury Electrode: Theoretical

Abstract

The theoretical aspects of square voltammetry at the dropping mercury electrode are presented. The technique involves scanning the entire potential range of interest on a single drop of a dme. Asymmetries in the waveform as well as variations in current measurement parameters are discussed. Indications are that previous uses of the waveform may not have utilized all its capabilities.
